Intoduction to the Lounge

Welcome to Nightscape Lounge V2, a modern web lounge by Andrew from Chattable.

Nightscape is themed after the wild colorful world of the late 90s to early 2000s internet. There’s no centralized topic and the rules are simple.

You can:

Send messages
Earn points & unlock achievements
Vibe to music
Search for easter eggs
Customize your messages in-chat
Buy live effects that mess with other people’s screens

Your progress (points, items, stats, and username) saves automatically, so you can pick up right where you left off. This save data is not tied to your Chattable account if you have one.

The Stack

Nightscape Lounge is powered by pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Depending on the URL you're on, it's either being hosted by Neocities or an apache web server.

Progress is saved using the JavaScript localStorage API

Notes

The Radio uses an API I've been creating - https://radio.xobyte.org

The Chat uses Chattable, a widget also made by me - https://iframe.chat.
